Smokeless barbecue restaurant, smokeless hot pot tables

Beijing, China

At a barbecue restaurant, the table must do far more than provide a place to eat. It supports the cooking process, accommodates shared ingredients and keeps every guest comfortably connected to the meal.

Integrated Cooking and Dining

For this Beijing project, custom smokeless barbecue tables were developed to integrate cooking and extraction functions into a unified dining setup. The technical elements are contained within the furniture, helping the restaurant maintain a cleaner, more organised appearance without separating guests from the experience of cooking together.

Table dimensions leave practical space around the cooking area for plates, utensils, sauces and uncooked ingredients. Stable structures and comfortable seating positions allow groups to dine naturally while keeping the heat source within convenient reach.

The layout also considers staff movement. Clear access around each table makes it easier to deliver ingredients, change equipment and clean the dining area between groups.

Here, the furniture is part of the restaurant’s operating system. By bringing cooking, extraction and group dining together at one table, the project supports a more comfortable barbecue experience for guests and a more manageable service process for staff.
